Acting was always a calling for me. I got some orientation by completing a few semesters of dramaturgy and then dove into acting in Leipzig at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Theater and Music, during which I acted at the Dresden State Theater. Several other company and guest engagements at the Young Generation Theater in Dresden, the Platen-Zwickau Theater, the Societaetstheater Dresden, the Meissen Theater, and the BAT Berlin. This gave me an amazing amount of fundamental stage experience and also landed me some surprise successes. My most challenging role, which ultimately left the biggest impression on me, wasn't Juliet, Gretchen, or Lady Milford, but the part of the puppet Lina in Joshua Sobol's musical 'Ghetto'. I also love recalling all the fun I had in 'Carnage' by Yasmina Reza. As Annette Reille I got to pull out all the stops - what a wonderful joy…
My love of voice work ultimately drove me out of my company engagement into self-employment and to Berlin. That allowed me to take speaking work and film projects in addition to the theater. And I finally had the opportunity to start a second Master's degree in speech language pathology and to start specializing in voice training for speech professionals. In order to deepen my qualifications I completed an intensive semester in vocology at the University of Iowa and the University of Utah. I've had the terrific opportunity to work with the most active and famous researchers in the field of voice, including Professor Katherine Verdolini-Abbott, Professor Ingo Titze, and Professor Johan Sundberg.

At the end of the play, when the only thing left for the young ones' happiness is to lose their lives, Sabine Melanie Rittel rises to the highest levels of performance.
[...] an ensemble that brings the figures to life believably and without clichés, especially Harry Walter as the ventriloquist Srulik, Sabine Rittel as the puppet Lina [...]
[...] with
'Black Coffee' and a singing voice that fascinates with its character.
Sabine Melanie Rittel attracts him not childishly, rather youthfully and young-womanly with her magnetic forces of beauty, determination, anarchic intelligence.
The role of Lady Milford is tailor-made for Sabine Melanie Rittel, not least because of her impressive appearance.
